* Important Notice about MAC Certification for USPS
Mail Manifesting Customer Only
In 2011 Harvey Software made the decision to switch to
new technology to greatly enhance its high volume USPS tools to process
packages. This new technology will not completely be able to
support all the features of the current Harvey Software USPS Mail
Manifest product until the second half of 2012. This is because
some of the features currently supported will not be available by USPS
until then. Because of this switch, Harvey Software did not go
through the voluntarily 2011 MAC certification cycle even though this
will be the first time in over 10 years. This should not be an
issue for any shipper as certification is done locally for each
installation and we do meet USPS requirements. Harvey Software
will continue to maintain support for its legacy USPS Mail Manifesting
product until it can be completely replaced with the latest USPS
technology. Anyone purchasing or using the current USPS Mail
Manifest product will be able to easily switch once it is available.

Manifest for international packages. It does not affect any CPS shipper using
Internet postage or any other form of USPS service supported in CPS or provided

Important Change Notice for USPS Mail Manifesting Customers Starting
January 22, 2012
Starting January 22, 2012 there
will be new requirements related to international postage payment and customs
form creation for all shippers using USPS Mail Manifesting.
Due to federal customs and export control regulations and policies, customs
information on several types of international packages and shipments must be
electronically submitted to United States Customs and Border Protection prior to
the shipments leaving the country. These changes impact shippers who present hard-copy
permit imprint mail manifests and/or using USPS-produced or privately printed
customs forms. To meet the new regulations USPS has changed their
requirements for International Mail Manifesting for Priority Mail International
and Express Mail International. Starting January 22, 2012, paper customs
documents may no longer be submitted with these manifested packages shipped
through the USPS.
These changes are only for those CPS shippers printing a daily USPS Mail
Manifest for international packages. It does not affect any CPS shipper using
Internet postage or any other form of USPS service supported in CPS or provided
by any other CPS supported carriers.
Harvey Software’s customers must use Internet Postage in order to continue
shipping their formerly manifested international packages through CPS. All domestic
packages can be processed using USPS Mail Manifesting in CPS as normal.

Shippers:
If you use CPS to print USPS Delivery Confirmation
Labels and you do not plan to do this through Endicia DAZzle,
only Zebra EPL2 printers are approved by use by Harvey Software
and the United States Postal Service.
